Hotel Sunstar This delightful Swiss style family run hotel commands a quiet position close to the centre of Grindelwald and the station for Kleine Scheidegg skiing area. Converted from a smithy the hotel dates back to 1912 and now offers every modern comfort and facility in a tasteful manner.

Your excellent buffet breakfast and six course dinner are served in the Alpterrassen restaurant with stunning views over the Eiger and the à la carte choices are the elegant Schmitte, which was the original smithy and boasts a fine wine selection or the cosy Gaststübli serving Swiss speciality cuisine. There is also an excellent hotel bar and a comfortable lounge with an open fireplace. The spa facilities include an indoor pool, sauna, steam room and massages.
