Situated opposite the station where the train takes you to the new cable car from Grütschalp to Lauterbrunnen and just 10 minutes’ walk from the Schilthorn cable car.

The dining room is decorated in rustic style and here you will be served a five course menu with choice of main course - except on Sundays when there is a special candlelight dinner. Breakfast is laid out as an ample buffet and the morning view from the hotel's dining room is fantastic. There's a comfortable lounge and a lively bar which is open until the small hours whilst the Eigerstübli is a cosy meeting place where you can have a fondue or just relax with a drink.

Other facilities include sauna, swimming pool, solarium and jacuzzi. The Hotel Eiger has been known to us for many years and is run with charm and efficiency by the Stähli family. They always seem to have time to spare for every guest and maintain a friendly and relaxed atmosphere in the hotel which is full of character and enjoys a long tradition as a winter sports hotel.
